What does this girl mean? she is confusing?

this girl we have known each other for a while and we went out at the start of the year and she got cold feet and stop all of a sudden and said that she wanted to focus on school work. we still spoke alot. the past few months we have gotten to know each other a lot we know stuff about each other that we dont tell our friends or other family members. recently about 3 weeks ago every time we begin to talk she always says hey loser and im not getting her at all we dont argue or anything we just talk to each other like friends do and she ends every convo with nyt nyt loser. i mean she puts alot of crap on me (in a playful way cause she is laughing about it) cause my ex started to talk to me and she was saying that she liked me and stuff but was joking around so what is my friends intentions what does she really mean by when she calls me 'loser' what is she really trying to say to me?
